In-person TCLL signups today

TAYLOR COUNTY—It is nearly time to dust off home plate and play some ball! In preparation, Taylor County Little League has recently released registration information for the upcoming season. 

In-person sign-ups are slated for today, Saturday February 5, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and are being held at Gourmet Express.

This event is for baseball players wishing to participate in the Minor League, coach/machine pitch, for ages 6-8, or Minor League, player pitch, for those ages 9-10. 

Additionally, Major League is offered for players between the ages of 11 and 12, and a Senior League is dedicated to the 13 to 16 age group. 

The cost to play is $45 for the first player, and $35 for each additional player within the same family. Cash or checks payable to TCLL will be accepted. 

Player evaluations will be held Saturday, February 26, at the Taylor County Fair Grounds indoor facility. All returning players must attend. Official recommend dressing accordingly, as the building is not heated. Players will also need to bring their gloves. 

Those who would rather, have the option of signing their player/players up online.

Online registration is open through February 21. No late registrations will be accepted.
