GTCHD provides COVID numbers, announces end of mobile vaccination clinics

TAYLOR COUNTY—As of press time on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department issued the following numbers for Taylor County Coronavirus testing :

954 Total positive

12 Currently active

252 Probable cases

918 Total recovered

24 Deaths

Additionally, after many successful mobile vaccination clinics, the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department has announced that they will be scaling back their efforts and will only be hosting vaccinations during regular business hours, in the future.

The department will be offering their last evening vaccination clinic on Friday, which will be held at their West Main Street location, from 4:00-8:00 p.m., with the last walk-in being taken at 7:45 p.m.

Beginning next week, the Grafton-Taylor County Health Department will be performing vaccinations during their regular business hours, Monday-Friday  from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The last appointment will be scheduled at 3:45 p.m. to allow for the 15 minute post vaccination waiting period before the close of business.
