GRAFTON— The Grafton Wrestling Club will soon be welcoming area youths to join their organization for the winter season, representing Grafton on the mats.
The club accepts wrestlers ranging in age from four to 15, at all levels of experience from beginners to those who may be more advanced, with a coaching staff that is dedicated to teaching and sharing their passion for the sport with each child.
With the season set to officially begin the first week of November, the Grafton Wrestling Club has announced dates for signups, with several opportunities to get your child registered to be a part of the growing program.
Signup dates currently include, Tuesday, October 5; Wednesday, October 6 and Thursday, October 7, with additional opportunities being provided on Monday, October 11; Tuesday, October 12 and Wednesday, October 13.
Each of the six signup days will be held at the Grafton High School baseball field from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Those wishing to register their athlete should bring with them a copy of the child’s birth certificate, as well as the registration fee, which will be $50 for the first child and $35 for each additional of the same family. Cash or check will be accepted for the fees.
The club practices throughout the week at Grafton High School and will compete in tournaments all across the state on the weekends.
