PETERSBURG—The Grafton High School wrestling team competed in the Viking Smash wrestling tournament, last weekend in Petersburg.

Dillion Williams placed second at 145 with an 8 and 2 finish.

Brothers Dalton and Clinton Mayle, both placed third with identical 8 and 2 records.

Dalton competed in the 160 pound class, while Clinton wrestled in the 170 pound division. Clinton also received the fastest pin award ,as he pinned his opponent in less than seven seconds.

In team competition the Bearcats defeated East Hardy, Frankfort, X-team, Lincoln, Moorefield and Berkeley Springs.

The Cats lost to Hampshire, Petersburg, Fairmont Senior and Hedgesville.
