GHS wrestler Hodges selected to All-Star team


GRAFTON—Grafton High School wrestling standout, Noah Hodges, has been selected to wrestle in the Border Brawl Mason Dixon Classic on March 24, in Jamestown, PA.

The Border Brawl pits the top high school senior wrestlers from the Johnstown, Pennsylvania, region against their counterparts from Maryland and West Virginia. Proceeds from this benefit Cancer Research.

Hodges was the WV Class AA state champion in 2017 and has a career record at GHS of 205-14. He holds the Grafton High record for most career wins.

He is a four-time top four state place winner and a four-time Region II champion.

This season Hodges recorded a 40 and 4 record for his senior season.

Tickets for the Border Brawl Mason Dixon Classic wrestling tournament are $10 for adults and $5 for students. They will be available at the door at The University of Pitt-Johnstown in Johnstown, PA.

Wrestlers will hit the mats on March 24, beginning at 3:00 p.m.  

Noah’s future plans are to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice and wrestle in college.
