GHS baseball to host fundraiser on the green

TAYLOR COUNTY—The Grafton High School (GHS) baseball program is set to host a fundraising event next month and is inviting the community to take part in some fun on the green.

The Bearcats have organized a four-man scramble golf tournament slated for Saturday, July 24, at Tygart Lake Public Golf Course.

There is a fee of $200 per team, which will include lunch.

GHS baseball coach Barstel Keener also shared that Mulligans will be available for purchase.

In addition, a 50/50 drawing will take place at the conclusion of the event, and cash prizes will be awarded to the first and second place finishers.

So, grab your friends and clubs, and make a day of supporting Bearcat baseball on the golf course!

Not much of a golfer, but still want to show your support? You can do so by sponsoring a hole for $100 ,and a sign signifying your contribution will be placed at the hole.

All proceeds from the tournament will go directly to the Grafton High School Bearcat Baseball program.
