FLEMINGTON—The Flemington Days Committee will be holding a Ham and Oyster dinner on Sunday, April 9, from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The committee is holding this dinner as a fundraiser to support the 20th Flemington Days Celebration, this fall.
The cost is $15 for adults, and children under 12 are free. The dinner includes: fried oysters, ham, green beans, cole slaw, baked potato, bread, dessert and a drink.
Flemington Days is a local fair that is put on downtown Flemington. It is held the third weekend of September each year and is a free to the public.
Flemington Days features live music, games, crafts, a parade, bake sales, a car show, bouncy houses and food and craft vendors.
The annual festival draws in a large crows and is considered a homecoming for those who have left the area, but return to take part in the celebration. Flemington Days is a chance for people to come together and enjoy the area, with activities for all ages.
“We appreciate the support we have received over the years to make Flemington Days possible,” said committee member Olive Ricketts. “We are hoping for a good turn out for the dinner to make this year just as good, if not better than it has been in previous years.”
