Flemington Events and Festivals invites residents to fall craft show

TAYLOR COUNTY—Fall has made its way to the area and soon winter will be knocking on our doors. And with the cooler months comes a new set of holidays to look forward to.

Often, during this time of year, individuals shift their thinking toward the upcoming holiday season and begin looking forward to craft shows as a way to find the perfect locally handmade and homemade gift.

Residents will have to look no further, as Flemington Events and Festivals is proud to announce that they will be hosting their annual Craft and Vendor Show today, Saturday, November 5, at Flemington Elementary School.

The festivities are set to being at 9:00 a.m. and guests of the show will be treated to not only creative creations but tasty treats until 4:00 p.m.

“Be sure to come hungry, because we will be serving up some of the best homemade meatball hoagies you have ever tasted,” noted a Flemington Events and Festivals representative.

The craft show will feature something for everyone with confirmations from crafters and artisans offering different mediums of work, as well as some vendors from well-known companies.

Those looking for primitives, wreaths, woodworks, handcrafted jewelry, along with so much more will be sure to find the perfect one-of-a-kind creation to take home.

And with over 25 crafters and vendors signed up for this year’s event, the craft and vendor show will act as the perfect place for individuals to get an early start on their Christmas shopping.

In addition to perusing through the tables and stalls of items, Flemington Events and Festivals will also be offering raffles that will include various gift baskets, door prizes and crafts.

All proceeds from the craft show and meatball hoagie sale will be used by Flemington Fairs and Festivals for this year’s Tree Lighting and Giveaway event.

The event is always a special time for community members to come together to usher in the holiday season with fun, food, and of course Christmas Spirit!

In the past, guests have been treated to free hot chocolate, cider, cookies, candy and Christmas music, including live performances from local singers. Community members have gathered around a fire pit and shared laughs, as they awaited the towns tree lighting.

They were also present as the winners of various gift card drawings were announced, helping to add assistance for purchases during the holiday season.

Flemington Events and Festivals is always happy to take part in such a wonderful and memorable event for residents and they are hoping for another spectacular tree lighting this holiday season.

“The Craft and Vendor Show is a great way to support local vendors, crafters and artisans, while helping to ensure that this year’s tree lighting and giveaway event is even bigger and better than before,” the Events and Festivals representative voiced. “We hope that you will join us for this fun day, you won’t want to miss it! See you at the show!”
