First-ever basketball family fun night to be held this month

GRAFTON—It’s time for a little Grafton High School Basketball family fun! The inaugural Grafton Basketball Family Fun Night will happen November 30 at 6:00 p.m.  The agenda below is tentative, depending on team availability. 

This will be a fun filled night for all ages.  6pm will be the introduction of the 2019-2020 GHS Bearcat and Lady Cats, GHS Cheer team as well as the TCMS boys’ and girls’ basketball teams.

There will be a fun dribble contest where players will dribble down the court and back.

There will be ten-minute scrimmages by the TCMS girls, TCMS boys, freshman boys, junior varsity girls, junior varsity boys, varsity girls and varsity boys.

There will also be a knockout game (girls on one basket and boys on the other) with the winner receiving a prize. 

The crowd will be thoroughly entertained by the cheerleader’s routine. 

There will also be fun to be had by alumni with a ladies and a men’s alumni games (2 15-minute halves).

And of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without a three-point shot contest where the winner will receive a coupon for a free pizza. 

The cost for admission is $2, all children get in free.  Alumni game is $15 to play.  Players must pre-register to guarantee a t-shirt.
