GRAFTON—The Anna Jarvis Parent Teacher Organization is inviting the community to take part in their last fun event of the school year.
The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) has been busy planning the Muffins with Mom and Doughnuts with Dad event to take place on Saturday, May 5, at the school from 9:00 a.m., until 12:30 p.m.
Admission to the event is $5 for adults and $3 for children. The admission includes breakfast, games, one raffle ticket and one craft for children to make for Mother’s or Father’s Day.
In addition, a photographer will be on hand at the event to capture the day with the perfect family photo.
There will be two different backdrops for families to choose from, one of them being a rustic look and the other a spring theme. Pictures will be $5.00 for one 5x7 portrait.
PTO President Kelbi Harman shared that they will also have a mother/daughter and father/son look-alike contest, egg race and much more.
In addition, the PTO is also holding a raffle at the event with some family-friendly baskets.
Attendees will have a chance to win a fire pit filled with treats for summer nights, a cooler filled with outdoor gear for families to enjoy, kid baskets filled with outdoor toys for kids to enjoy in the summer months and many more.
Guests will receive one ticket upon admission, and additional tickets will be on sale for $5 for 10 tickets and additional crafts will be available for $3.
Harman shared that the event is open to everyone in the community. Parents, guardians, grandparents and anyone is welcome to attend, she noted.
“We hope you join us for our last fundraiser of the year. We are grateful for the continued support of our school’s PTO,” expressed Harman. “We have great things coming up for the 2018-2019 school year.”
