David Allen Mayle, 60 of Grafton, passed away, Friday, December 29, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, with his family by his side.
He was born May 14, 1957 in Zanesville, OH, son of the late Clayton Mayle and is survived by his mother, Christine Mayle. He is survived by his wife of thirty five years, Teresa Mayle, they were married February 9, 1980.
He worked for the City of Grafton for twenty eight years, never met a stranger and loved to Ginseng, he enjoyed people, playing cards, dancing, traveling, and music, he touched many lives over the years by just being himself. David is survived by two children, Kimberley Jo Mayle and husband Donald, David Lloyd Mayle and fiancé Britney Pond all of Grafton; eight grandchildren, Savanna, Ian, Paige, Charles, Ivy, Thomas, Teddi, and Shay; one brother, Richard Mayle, Grafton; one sister, Stephanie Hott and husband Stephen both of Grafton; mother-in-law, Dorothy Collins; two special nephews, Justin Marcum and Zackery Hott.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dennis and Letha Mayle; paternal grandparents, James and Bessie Mayle; father-in-law, Carl Collins, his close buddies, Roger and Johnny Johnson, Lukie Croston, and Jim Poling.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday January 2, 2018 with Rev. D.J. Maley officiating.
