MORGANTOWN—Get ready to come out for the Second Annual Wreaths Across America Benefit Ride this weekend.
This Saturday, Bruskey’s and Buggey’s will be sponsoring their annual fundraiser with all proceeds going to purchase wreaths for Grafton National Cemetery.
During the event, all proceeds will benefit Wreaths Across America, a campaign that helps to ensure that a wreath is placed on each hero’s grave.
Event Organizer Caroline Pysell shared that they will also be placing wreaths at local cemeteries in the area, and they hope to reach as many veterans as possible.
“The proceeds from the event will help with placing wreaths at the Grafton National Cemetery in December, “she shared.
The ride will take place at the Triune Halleck Volunteer Fire Department, located at 1621 Halleck Rd, Morgantown WV.
Ride registration takes place from starts at 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and the first ATV/UTV will pull out at 11:00 a.m., and the last bike will be at 5:00 p.m.
The registration fee is $15 per-person and children under 10 are free.
After the ride, a spaghetti dinner will take held from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
While enjoying a delicious meal, attendees will also enjoy music by Highway Miles Band from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
The group will also be holding many raffles of unique and useful items and a 50/50 drawing.
The fundraiser will take place rain or shine, so get ready to come out and have a good time.
“If you can’t ride, please come join us for the after party and chances to win on raffles,” shared Pysell. “If you are unable to attend, donations are welcome.”
