GRAFTON—The Big Ten Conference released their All-Big Ten teams last week, and three Grafton High School baseball players made the cut.
Seniors Cole Collins and Cameron Forte were selected to the first team while, junior, Dominic Lough was selected as honorable mention.
Collins finished the year with a .384 average, which led his Bearcat team. He went 28 for 73 with 10 RBIs and recorded six doubles, four triples and a homerun. Collins also led the team with a .483 on base percentage.
Forte finished the year with the second best batting average of .361. He also led the team with six stolen bases, on only six attempts. Forte’s on-base percentage of .410 was only second to Collins for the Bearcats.
Lough finished the year with a .312 batting average, which placed him third on the team this season. He was 25 for 80 ,with four doubles on the season, and recorded a .389 on base percentage.
