Charles F. Gelhausen, age 79, peacefully passed away on December 13, 2020 in Willowick.
He was born in Grafton, WV to Frederick and Edith Gelhausen, both deceased.
Chuck served in the U.S. Army/Airforce from 1959 to 1967 during the Vietnam era. He retired from Lubrizol after many years. He was also member of the American Legion post 678 in Willowick. He was a resident of Willowick for over 50 years. Chuck was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed.
He is survived by stepsons, Edward (Char), and Andrew (Ann) Pankuch, his daughter-in-law, Terri Pankuch, his seven grandchildren, his ten great grandchildren, his three great great grandchildren, and his siblings, Harold Gelhausen, and Georgia (Frank) Upton
He was preceded in death by wife, Helen Gelhausen, his stepson, John Pankuch and his sister, Marian Poling.
Chuck will be buried in Western Reserve National Cemetery with a graveside service at a later date.
