Celebrate the special ladies in your life at Women’s Extravaganza

MORGANTOWN—Treat mom to a day centered around her and the other special ladies in your life this Saturday, at the 9th Annual West Virginia Women’s Extravaganza, the largest women’s expo in the state.

Grab the girls and head on out to Mylan Park’s Ruby Community Center on Saturday, May 11, from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for the fun.

During the event, be sure to stop by the various vendor booths, specializing in items related to fashion, fitness, health, beauty, travel, business, family, home, garden, arts and crafts.

“Vendors will be selling their products and services to over a thousand women, all in one day,” commented Labeth Hall of PR Plus Events.

The expo will be featuring health and fitness experts, health spas, beauty specialists, hair salons, jewelers, fashion boutiques, medical professionals, home decorators and improvement contractors, massage therapists and tanning and nail salons, just to name a few.

“Back by popular demand this year, we will be featuring the ever-popular BINGO at noon, which raises money for programs at Stepping Stones for special needs children and adults,” Hall revealed.

Then, at 2:30 p.m., indulge yourself at a wine and chocolate tasting with Lambert’s Vintage Wines and Sarris Chocolates.

“What lady does not like wine and chocolates,” questioned Hall.

She said it is the goal of organizers to continue to bring fun, unique experiences for the ladies to enjoy.

“This event is so much fun,” Hall expressed. “Ladies of all ages can come and relax, enjoy entertainment and shop ‘til they drop. They can also receive free makeovers, manicures and massages too!”

She shared that it’s the perfect event to celebrate everything mom, or any other special lady in your life has done for you over the years.

“It’s a great event to bring your mom, your sister or your best friend and have an amazing day,” Hall noted.

Ladies are invited to register at the prize table for their chance to win numerous prizes that will be given away hourly.

Be sure to enter for the “Pamper Me” Getaway, which includes a two-day, one-night stay at Stonewall Resort & Spa. The trip for two will feature breakfast, massages and facials.

“This is the perfect getaway to relax and rejuvenate with mom or your best friend,” Hall expressed.

Another amazing grand prize being offered, at 3:00 p.m., is a gift basket valued at over $1,000, including a three-day, two-night getaway to Massanutteen Resort, in addition to a variety of gift cards for shopping, jewelry, restaurant gift certificates, candles bath products, massages, beauty products, accessories, home décor and a variety of other gifts. Winner must be present to win.

Guests will enjoy shopping and hourly entertainment, including the Honey bees Chorus Lines, Derek and Corey and other performances.

Attendees will also have a chance to earn cash and prizes during the “Let’s Make A Deal” Game Show that will be presented on the main stage at 1:00 p.m.

Is the special woman in your life a fan of art?

During the Women’s Extravaganza, guests can visit the Arts and Crafts Corners where they can Paint with the Pros, creating beautiful crafts and canvas paintings. Professional artists will be available to share their skills and artistry.

During the day, a silent auction will be held, with all proceeds going to breast cancer programs with the American Cancer Society.

The event will close with the designer fashion show at 3:00 p.m., highlighting many of the newest fashions from area boutiques, followed by the grand prize drawing.

A day of fun awaits you, and admission is just $9. The first 50 guests to purchase tickets at the door will receive a free gift.

Want to save a little extra off the already low admission price? Bring a new toy and receive $1 off of your ticket. All toys will be collected for their “Children of the Storms” Toy Drive and will be shipped year round to disaster shelters for children affected by tragic times.

The WV Women’s Extravaganza is organized by PR Plus Events and is sponsored by The Dominion Post, WKKW Radio, Sarris Chocolates, Oglebay Resort and Spa, Stonewall Resort and Spa, Massanutten Resort and Spa, Moss Farms Wines, Tuscan Sun Spa, Zaccagnini Morgantown Florist, Baltimore Sound, Morgantown Power Equipment, the Greater Morgantown CVB and Everyday’s a Party.
