Celebrate the Fourth with a float down the Tygart River

GRAFTON— In celebration of the holiday on Sunday, the Taylor County Adventure Club is offering a Fourth of July float down the Tygart River.

The club opened their Lazy Rive floats on Memorial Day weekend for just the cost of a donation, as they awaited their Outfitters licensing, and will do the same in recognition of Independence Day.

Folks can celebrate the day with a relaxing float down the majestic waters of the Tygart River for any donation amount they see fit.

The trip will launch from Grafton City Park, located at the foot of the dam in Parkview, on Sunday, July 4 at 11:00 a.m.

So, grab a friend, some sunscreen and float the day away with the Adventure Club.

Reservations are not required, however there are a limited number of tubes that will be provided on a first-come first-serve basis.

The Adventure Club operates the Lazy River through Labor Day. Additional information can be found by visiting their Facebook at  https://www.facebook.com/TCAdventureClubWV.
