By royal decree TLSP Foundation invites you to become royalty for a day

TAYLOR COUNTY—The Tygart Lake State Park Foundation would like to cordially invite one and all to attend the very first Princess Day aboard the Tygart Lake Princess.

The party, being held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., will feature a lovely princess tea. And what fun would a princess party be without princess games?

Children will learn to handle themselves as royalty during proper princess training. They will look the part after the professional makeup and pedicure session that will be offered.

Children will be able to remember this fun day forever with the help of the princess photo booth.

This is all included in the $15 per child price.

The boat will stay docked for this fun filled event.

Princess Day is part of the Tygart Lake State Park Foundations ongoing fundraising efforts to fund the new Beach Pavilion at Tygart Lake State Park.

The Beach Pavilion will cost around $15,000, if they can get half of that paid for by a sponsor, they would give that entity naming rights for the pavilion. The $15,000 will be for the materials only, and the labor will be provided by the park employees.

So, please come out and support the Tygart Lake State Park Foundation’s efforts to constantly improve the Tygart Lake State Park, while the kids enjoy a magical party.

Tickets are available at or call Tygart Lake Cruises at 304-672-7701.
