Board of Education releases statement on superintendent evaluation

TAYLOR COUNTY—The Taylor County Board of Education met on June 26, 2019 to evaluate Mrs. Christine Miller, Superintendent of Taylor County Schools.

Mrs. Miller is currently serving her first year of a two-year contract in her position as Superintendent.

During the evaluation process, Mrs. Miller and the Board of Education reviewed goals jointly established on September 11, 2016.

The evaluation instrument was scored using a criteria of exceeds, meets or does not meet standards.

The result of the evaluation of Mrs. Miller and the consensus if the Taylor County Board of Education is that Mrs. Christine Miller has met and/or exceeded the goals that were established for the current school year.

President Austin Upton stated that they look forward to the next school year.
