GRAFTON—Basketball season has finally arrived, and that means the return of games that always draw a crowd, and a night centered on all things basketball in Taylor County.
The Grafton High School (GHS) Lady Bearcat Basketball Team annually hosts a match up that not only helps raise funds for the upcoming season but is an event that basketball lovers attend in numbers.
The Annual GHS Alumni games are set to take place on Friday, November 25, during the Grafton High School (GHS) Basketball Bearcat Bash.
Join the Lady Bearcats and Bearcats, past, present and future, for an evening of fun, entertainment and friendly competitions.
While the event serves as a fundraiser for the GHS girls basketball program, it is during this time that the newly selected middle and high school basketball teams are introduced to the community before their seasons get underway.
In addition, the GHS Basketball Family Night will have some Bearcat Alumni hitting the court for a friendly yet competitive round of ball.
The Lady Bearcats are calling on all alumni Bearcat and Lady Bearcat ballers to take part in the fun at their Past, Present and Future Bearcat Bash.
Those wishing to participate will be subject to a $25 registration fee, however that not only buys a basketballers way into the action, it includes the cost of a commemorative t-shirt.
Game organizers revealed that payment will not have to made until the night of the games.
Former Bearcat and Lady Bearcats wishing to put their skills to the test may visit the Grafton Lady Bearcat Basketball Facebook page to find a link that will lead them to a registration form.
