MORGANTOWN— Mountaineer fans love their football, and in turn Mountaineer football loves their fans, and is excited to be able to welcome them back into Milan Puskar Stadium for home games and special events this season.
The West Virginia University football program is excited to announce that they will once again be offering the opportunity for fans to get coveted autographs from the Mountaineer players and coaches, while also being given the chance to watch the team practice during their Annual Fan Day.
Slated for Saturday, August 7, fans are invited to visit with and get autographs from Head Coach Neal Brown, assistance coaches and WVU players from 9:00- 10:30 a.m.
The event will take place on the West Concourse of Milan Puskar Stadium, and fans are being advised to enter though the stadium’s West Gate on the press box side. The gate will open for admittance beginning at 8:50 a.m., the day of the event.
And to sweeten the experience, this opportunity is being offered to the public free of charge.
However, to ensure equality to each fan in attendance, and in order to accommodate all those who come out for the special day, guests will be limited to one autograph item.
Additionally, in an effort to keep the lines moving to avoid high traffic and wait times, poses photographs with players and coaches will not be permitted, as the goal is to allow the opportunity to as many fans as possible in the short period of time.
Then, once the autographs have been signed, fans will be welcomed inside Milan Puskar to get an exclusive peak at a Mountaineer practice at 12:30 p.m.
Free parking will be available for those attending the Annual Fun Day in the Silver lot, which is located behind the Puskar Center. Additional parking will also be offered on lots A1, B1, E, F1, F2, F3 and F4, with the option of utilizing the parking garage on Don Nehlen Drive, as well.
The 2021 football schedule posters will also be on hand at the event for fans.
Because this is a free event, advanced tickets are not being sold.
