Amber Dawn Marks


Amber Dawn Marks, age 24, of Flemington, WV, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017, from injuries sustained from a car accident.

 She was born March 31, 1992, at United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, WV.

 Surviving are her mother, Faith Ann (Marks) Kittle and husband, Greg, of Flemington. Her father was the late Jesse Vernon Hargis.

 Surviving at home are a daughter, Amara Leeann McDaniel, age 5, and a son, Aubry Lloyd Gum, age 2, both of Flemington. In addition, she is also survived by her brother Allen Joseph “A.J.” Kittle of Flemington, sisters Desiree Hargis, of Clarksburg, and Kaitlin Hargis, of Lumberport, and brothers Isaiah Smith, of Wallace, and Christopher (Michelle) Kelley, of Tennessee; “stepsisters”, Samantha (Ryan) Stevens, of Indiana, Hillary Kittle, of Philippi, and Paige Kittle (James), of Grafton; nieces, Icie, Hadley and McKenna, and nephew Kaden. Maternal Grandparents are Carol S. Marks, of Flemington, the late Lloyd F. Marks, of Galloway and James Yocum (Claudia), of Philippi. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles, too numerous to list.

 Amber loved her family, spending time with her kids at the river, swimming and boating. She had a love of music, and has been known to quote her favorite lyrics. She was pursuing a career in massage therapy, and was looking forward to her upcoming graduation. She had numerous friends that she enjoyed hanging out with, that she considered her family. She enjoyed playing cards, learning to play pool and had been learning to cook new foods. She enjoyed just hanging out with those she loved, watching tv, talking and laughing. She had a contagious laugh that could be heard for miles. Amber was loved by many and will be missed by many.

 Family and friends will be received at the Bradley J. Mayle Funeral Home in Flemington, WV, on Thursday, March 2, 2017, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, March 3, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., that morning.

 Interment will follow in the Flemington I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
