GRAFTON—Grafton High School girls basketball player, Ally Peters, has been named to the 2016-2017 All-Big Ten conference second team.
The junior guard averaged a team high 16 points per game for the Lady Cats.
Peters scored a total of 370 points this season, with 159 of those points coming from behind the three point line.
From the free throw line she was 109 of 145, for an average of 75 percent.
This season she pulled down 44 rebounds and recorded 18 assists.
Defensively she yielded 39 steals and two blocked shots.
“This is a well deserved award, and an honor to get mentioned on the second team,” said head coach Andrew Moore.
“We have the best conference in the state as we sent 5 teams from the conference to the state tournament for the third year in a row. She worked hard throughout this season so it was nice for other coaches to respect her as a player. I’m looking forward to see her work on her game throughout the offseason and see what we can accomplish next season as a senior,” he added.
