A Woman of the Most High God: Where could I go but to the Lord?

Troubles are on every hand, and sickness is all around us. Who do we turn to? Sometimes doctors can’t help you. We find ourselves in situations we don’t know where to turn. Christ is our answer in everything this life hands to us.

Jesus makes it rain on the just and the unjust. We all will have tribulation and trials, but we can turn to Jesus. He gives us a free will. Either we will serve the Lord or the devil. He tells us to choose this day whom we will serve. No one can serve two masters.

I can’t even walk without Jesus holding my hand. I need him every hour to guide me. I will look unto the hills from whence cometh my help. He is my shepherd; I shall not want. He leads and guides me.

Jesus asked his disciples, “Will you leave me also?” The disciples answered, “Where would we go?” There’s no one else to turn to. We must put our faith and trust in Jesus. He will never let us down. People look to the government to provide for us and work out our problems. But they don’t have the answers. They can’t solve all the world’s problems, but Jesus can.

Who do I turn to when I’m sick? To Jesus. When I’m in trouble, who do I turn to? John 14:1 tells us Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Everything we need, we find in Jesus. He has promised to supply all of our needs, and he is a God of his word.

I’ve found him to be the best friend anyone could ever want. He made a way for me to live with him forever one day. He’s preparing a mansion for me, but if I choose not to serve him, there is a heaven to gain and a hell to share.

Where do you turn when your troubles surround you? When sickness comes to you or your family? When no one else can help you, Jesus can. Trust in him, and he’ll bring you through. You won’t be sorry you did.

Yours in Christ Jesus,

Teresa Reid
