The Psalmist David tells us to let everything that has breath praise the Lord. God has taken care of us in every situation we have gone through. He has never forsaken us or left us. He watches over us day and night. The Book of Psalms is full of praise unto the Lord. Jesus is worth of all of our praise. No one can do us like Jesus does.
The angels in heaven are praising the Lord day and night and that haven’t been redeemed. They are praising the Lord until we get to heaven to praise him in the morning, at noon, and at every time. He sure is worthy of our praise. Yes, we walk through the valleys and we go through hard times, but Jesus is always with us.
The bible tells us if we make our bed in hell, Jesus is there. The hairs on your head are numbered. Every tear you shed he sees. He died for us on Calvary, even though he had no sins of his own. He paid for our sins. John 3:16-17 tells us that God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son. He was wounded for our sickness and by his stripe we are healed.
Truly, he is the Lord that healeth me. Don’t you think he’s worthy of your praises? He’s been good to you. Without him you can’t make it. My husband sang a song that said, “I am blessed, I am blessed every day that I live. I am blessed when I wake up in the morning till I lay my head to rest. I am blessed, I am blessed.” He knew he was blessed, and he told people how blessed he was.
The Psalmist David says, “I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. As long as I have breath, I will praise the Lord.” He’s been good to me. He saved my soul, healed my body. He’s a good God, and I will live with him forever someday soon. He’s coming back, but we must be ready.
Do you wish to continue to grumble, or do you choose to praise him for the goodness to you? I’d rather praise him. That’s why I write this column every week. God gives them to me. I want to praise him and lift his name on high. I don’t buy them, they come from the throne of God through his word. Let us just praise the Lord. Count your blessings.
Yours in Christ Jesus,
