A Woman of the Most High God: Do you know what happens after death?

The bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 12:7 that when we die, we return to dust. And our spirit goes back to God who gave it. Genesis 3:19 tells us for dust thou art and unto we shall return. My friend, death is not the end. We are told in the word of God that is appointed once to die and after that, the judgement.

The Christians will stand before the judgement seat of God to be judged for the deeds we have done, and sinners will face the White Throne judgement. Having to stand before the White Throne judgement isn’t something we want to look forward to. It leads to an eternal hell that burns forever. God’s wrath will be poured out on people for all eternity. I don’t want any part of that.

People fear death, but as Christians, we don’t have to fear death. As the song says, “I won’t have to cross Jordan alone.” Yes, it is the fear of the unknown. We’ve never been through it before, and we must leave this world without anyone going with us. Our family can’t go with us, only the Lord holding our hands and leading us to the other side.

We don’t want to leave our loved ones. Sometimes we aren’t able to say goodbye to them. In I 1 Corinthians 15:55 it says, “O death, where s thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” Death is something we hardly ever talk about, and people can’t understand death. The question why good people have to die, and why babies have to die. We must all prepare to meet thy God.

Our hearts are broken when our loved ones have been taken from us. You never forget them. You carry them in your heart forever. We all will have to go down that path someday. Unless the Rapture takes place first. The bible tells us the dead in Christ will rise first, and those that remain will be caught up in the air.

What a glorious day that will be. We will have new bodies. Ones that don’t ever hurt any more. No more crying because tears will be wiped away from our eyes. But, if you haven’t received Christ as your savior, please give your heart to him today. If you haven’t received him today, then your life will be full of troubles, and it will be forever, with no end to it.

I don’t want any part of that death. I want to go in the first resurrection. I’ve already made me reservation. My ticket has been paid in full by the blood of Jesus Christ. Life is a vapor. Here today, gone tomorrow. Age doesn’t matter. Prepare to meet thy God.

Yours in Christ Jesus,

Teresa Reid
