A Woman of the Most High God: Do you have a made up mind for God?

The Bible tells us that we need to have the mind of Christ. Jesus always did the work of his father. While he was still on earth, his full trust was in his father. We have our minds so full of what’s going on right now that we don’t seem to have the mind of Christ.

Jesus tells us to cast our cares upon him for he cares for us. Yes, I am aware of the virus, protests and the killings that are taking place on our country today, but the bible tells me that “greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.” Worry is not of God. Jesus tells us that he will keep us in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon him. That’s you and I. Praise God for peace in the time of trouble. We are living in a day that you people are overdosing. They are looking or something that can satisfy that longing in their lives. Jesus is the only one that satisfies that longing.

Jesus is our only hope. He tells us no to look to the left or the right, but to keep our eyes upon him. We must put on the whole armor of God, not just part of it! We are covered completely on our front, but the back is not covered because we are not to look back. The bible tells us if we put our hand on the plow and look back, we are not fit for the kingdom of God. The bible tells us to look to the author and finisher of our faith (Jesus).

Preachers have lost their joy and peace because we are paying more attention to the virus, the politics and protesting than we are seeking the things of God. We are not reading and studying God’s word. This is a time of fasting and praying, believing that God is still in control. God will take care of the things going on around us. We are to keep our mind on him.

We are victorious in Jesus Christ. He is still in control and he has always been. God wants to do good things in the church, if only we get in position that we can use us. Our hearts have to be fixed on him. Let’s get a new mindset. Think on things of God, not this world. Keep looking up. He’s coming back soon. Souls are what our minds should be focused on. If the church keeps their mind on politics, protesting, the virus then the devil will steal our peace and our soul will die and go to hell. You won’t have peace or joy in your life. That’s not God’s will for your life. Let’s get the mind of Christ, then we can have revival. But not until we follow the ways of the Lord.

Yours in Christ Jesus,

Teresa Reid
