Jesus tells us in St. John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” The world can’t offer you peace. Look around you. There is no peace anywhere. There is turmoil on every hand. Trouble all around us.
Are you searching for real peace? Jesus is offering you real peace. The price has already been paid by the precious blood of Jesus. We have never seen such a time as this. We think times can’t get any worse, but are you sure of this?
The song writer says, “Peace, peace, wonderful peace, coming down from the Father above; Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray…” We can’t control things around us, but God can. Jesus loves you. He wants to give you peace. So, you can lay down at night and sleep. Do you have trouble sleeping at night? Are you a child of the King, and you can’t rest? Come to Jesus.
God can’t move when there is fear. I told you before what fear stands for: false evidence appearing real. Jesus loves you, and he wants the best for you. How can you make it without Christ and his peace he offers to you?
Church, it is time to arise. Don’t live in fear. We used to be the church on fire, but the virus, riots and the election have thrown us off. We took our eyes off of Jesus, and we have been listening to what man has to say instead of seeking God. Jesus tells us not to look to the left nor the right, but to Jesus, who is the author and finisher of our faith.
Church put the armor on and go to battle for Jesus. We are commanded to go into the world and preach the gospel. Not hide behind fear. Jesus didn’t give us the spirit of fear, but that of love and a sound mind. The world lives in fear, the church shouldn’t be. We are the light of the world; we can’t hide our light under a bushel. We must let it shine in this dark world.
We have the victory. We are the winners. Souls are what it’s all about, church. Awaken out of sleep, seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you. Church we are not the children of fear but children of peace. Not the peace the world gives, but the peace Jesus gives to his children.
Yours in Christ Jesus,
